Our retirement planning philosophy is based
on two important truths:
- Smart investing is
centered on setting goals and creating a plan to achieve
those goals. It is not just "picking" stocks,
bonds, or mutual funds.
- Historical facts and simple mathematics
provide many of the answers for a successful retirement
plan.
This philosophy is broken down into four key
components. Each builds on the previous step to create a systematic
approach to investing:
- KNOWLEDGE
- Become a better informed investor with regards to investment
realities and you will be better equipped to achieve your
retirement goals.
- PLANNING
- Establish realistic goals and understand what it takes
to achieve those goals.
- INVESTMENT
SELECTION - Provide an investment allocation that
gives the best opportunity to achieve the goals while adhering
to an acceptable risk tolerance.
- IMPLEMENT
- Put the plan into action and continue to monitor progress
to ensure the goals will be achieved.
Most individuals do not know if they are on
track to achieve their retirement goals. Due to the long-term
nature of retirement planning, many individuals believe they
have plenty of time to address their retirement. While others
feel it is impossible to accurately plan for such a long-term
goal.
Our goal is to change this misconception, getting
our clients, one by one, on the right path to retirement.
